California Roads

The next stop on our national tour was to visit Dustin's parents and brother in northern California. Having never been to that part of the state I was excited to see what all the fuss was about. I'll get to the beautiful scenery later, but I must take the time to say one important message:

I HATE California roads!

Tiny one-lane roads, extremely steep inclines and no guard rails. Add in hairpin turns with blind corners and hundreds of feet to fall off the edges. Beautiful landscape but white knuckles the whole time! We discussed how much fun a bike ride would be... assuming you have good brakes.

If you come to visit... bring your bicycle and purchase new brakes before you attempt them!
