Maine(iac?)

Before leaving for Japan we wanted to spend time with family. The first stop on our national tour was Maine. Tuesday morning we flew from Chattanooga to Portland with no major issues. Upon arriving we enjoyed dinner at Olive Garden before heading home.

The girls kept us at full steam with games, hikes, some Kinect Adventures, and cake pop creation. It was just great to spend time with them and visit with family. Maine was much cooler (70's and lower 80's) than what we were used to in North Carolina (100+ with humidity) so I froze for the first couple days!

To top off our visit we had a surprise birthday celebration filled with tasty sopapillas and enough candles to set off a smoke detector! We had a blast and can't wait to see you again soon!
