Shibuya

This morning we slept in and took the bus from Yokota AB to the New Sanno hotel in the Roppongi area of Tokyo. The New Sanno is a fancy military hotel. It was impossible to get a room there so instead we took the bus for $8 and then can take the trains to anywhere in downtown Tokyo.

First on our list this morning is the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world. In Shibuya there is an intersection that is said to have something like 2 million pedestrians every day. There is a Starbucks on the second floor of an entertainment building that we sat and watched for a while. So many people!

Our pictures were on a Monday morning around 11AM. Check out the video below:

After enjoying the traffic we decided to do some shopping. H&M became my new favorite store after my last visit to Tokyo so that was our first stop. Dustin found a very nice peacoat and some sweaters. I got some new tights and leggings.

After spending a small fortune in the clothing stores we headed to Takeshita Street. This street has lots of shoe, clothing, entertainment, and pop culture stores.

And, of course, lots of people...
